Classical Compositions by Commission |
Commissioning a work of music
Each piece of music is individually
composed by the artists to meet the criteria you establish.
We do not recycle music.
We do not adapt music. We personally slave over the music to make
it both elegant and powerful, unique and moving.
All music is unique and composed
on order. To commission a work, the Patron must be prepared to define
the following:
The
nature of the occasion
Is this an anniversary gift?
Is this an apology?
Is this a building dedication?
etc.
The individual
or event that the work will be composed for (the dedication)
We prepare the dedication directly to the person or cause
The length of
the commissioned work
It
is common and more affordable to keep the length to 3 to 5 minutes.
For an individual to sit listening for much longer listening is likely
to make
the receiver and the giver uncomfortable. Never the less, longer
works
remain ideal for other circumstances. You make the decision.
The adventurousness
of the work
Your work should suit your own style and that of the recipient. Every piece
of music is unique
and we compose works that are largely traditional. If advised, we
will gladly add inflections and
innuendo that escalate the diversity of the music. We will not, however,
go so far that the music loses
its essential classical favor and grace.
The completion
date
We do labor over the music and write each piece uniquely. Please
inform us of the precise
date the music must be received by.
