Mission 

History

The California Institute for Science and Society was founded in 1998 in San Diego, CA.  The institute was formed to be a collaborative think tank and action based organization.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the California Institute of Science and Society is to theorize, research, record, and apply principles of science to the enhancement of all citizens.  All endeavors of creativity may be exploited in the service of generating new ideas and new technologies.
